Channel

Used for multiplexing over a single TCP connection; can be thought of as lightweight connections. Channels

Sequential data structured used for delivering messages.

Configurable properties:

Name
Durable/Transient (survive a broker restart)
Exclusive (owned by one connection and terminated with that connection)
Auto-delete (delete queue that had at least one consumer after the last consumers unsubscribes)
